Woodcote Youth Development Group
This group was set up to represent the various youth clubs and societies that use the facilities in the Youth Centre, which is located in one end of the Village Hall. This excellent centre is the result of a major capital appeal for refurbishment, which attracted both lottery funding and support from local sources, including South Oxfordshire District Council.
The remit of the group however, is much broader than simply the use of the Youth Centre, as it also considers other local community aspects of youth support and has played a major role in helping to influence the strategy for youth provision within South Oxfordshire and the rest of the County.
The Youth Development Group is committed to supporting a wide variety of activities for children and young people of all ages and to facilitate maximum use of the use of the Youth Centre.
The Committee welcomes new members.
