The next Swap Shop will be on:
Saturday 3rd December 2011, from 10.00 a.m. until 11.30 a.m. at Woodcote Village Hall.
Anyone may bring and swap: useable electrical items, new and used tools, children's toys, garden equipment, bicycles and push-chairs, books, tapes and CDs and recycling items. If you have nothing to swap come along anyway and take whatever you find to be useful to you.
You can leave items for proper recycling: batteries – hearing-aids, clocks, AAA, AA, C, D, PP3 batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, spectacles, ink-jet and toner cartridges, mobile phones and empty (flattened please) Tetrapak cartons. Please DO NOT bring: jumble, junk or car batteries.
Please DO NOT arrive with your items to swap until 10.00 a.m. as we will still be setting up the tables in the Village Hall. Also, it is better to bring things to leave before 10.45 a.m. as, after then, the number of people turning up starts tailing off. This means less is taken away and remaining items have to be sent to landfill.
