Family Picnics on the Village Green
In line with Woodcote being the Best Village there is an opportunity to reinforce our community spirit:
families in the village are all invited to bring a picnic onto the Village Green.
There will be a fund-raising bbq, an ice-cream van will be present, and the Red Lion has been asked
to ensure there are sufficient stocks for those who wish to have a drink.
Woodcote Cricket Club has a home game against Moreton that day.
The Green is looking wonderful and this is a great opportunity to stage an idyllic Woodcote Village
scene: the sound of a ball hitting willow, while adults and children picnic around the boundary,
with a wonderful backdrop of trees surrounding the edge of the field. Please do come along.
