In Woodcote Village Hall. Anyone may bring and swap but if you have nothing to swap come along anyway and take whatever you find to be useful to you.

Annual 10k Road Run for Charity
Organised by Goring, Woodcote & District Lions Club. The race will be started by Sir John Robert Madejski OBE DL at 10.30am by the entrance to Langtree School.
The principal beneficiary of the funds raised will be the local Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Please note that we already have a good number of runners pre-registered
but as we are limited to a maximum of 600 participants please don't leave it too late to enter !

Public Meeting - Proposed Closure of Woodcote Library
Following the current Government public spending cuts many services are being cut, certain libraries are being proposed for closure by the Oxfordshire County Council.
Woodcote Library is one on the list!
A public meeting is being held to gain views and feedback to oppose this proposed closure. All are welcome.

Community Centre Talk - The Fabric of the Cosmos
An illustrated talk by Chris Bradford of The Oratory School will take place in the Woodcote Community Centre.
The talk promises a whirlwind tour of cutting edge cosmology. Entrance will be £2.50 on the door, to include tea, coffee, soft drinks
and biscuits. Doors open 7.30pm.

A lecture by Gwilym Williams (John Moore Heritage Services) drawing together the results of work by SOAG and JMHS for South Oxfordshire Archaeological Group. Goring Heath Parish Hall.
